So for those of you who don't know I hate going to Walmart with a fiery passion. Yes, it has everything I need, but its big and they keep moving stuff. So yesterday I set upon my quest to buy stuff for my online classroom and get some groceries. I circled the crafts and toys sections several times before deciding upon my items. About 30 minutes in I felt the beast awaken. The snakes under my skin displeased at my trapezing around the store decided to start a tremor. So there I am in the middle of Walmart almost finished with my quest. Thinking okay I can do this just stumble your way to the front give the bridge troll (self check cash register) their gold and leave, but alas it was not to be. I have two words for you. DOG FOOD. I completely forgot. It is in a back corner on the other side of the store where I was earlier in my journey. "Come on take a deep breath. You can do this." my brain unhelpfully supplies. So on I go to get the food. My hands shaking signalling to the world that the little snakes are pissed off. Once this final task is done. I turn to head up front to pay my toll. As I do I notice two women in the corner staring. With your body betraying you as often as mine does you get used to stares. Doesn't mean I like them, but they don't bother me much anymore. What does bother me is the assumptions. In general it is a good rule of thumb to not judge people. Apparently these two women have not heard of this. Along with the staring I hear the word "addict" come out of their mouths. With that my inner self supplies a few expletive and some educational health facts, which would be more helpful in this situation. You see many people make incorrect assumptions about my age combined with the shaking. There seems to be a universal problem with understanding that young people do in fact have health issues. Sadly instead of educating them I leave. I am just to tired. Not ashamed though. Never be shamed because your different in some way. Rock your differences. Everyone has them whether they think they do or not. Thanks for reading. Bye!
